I typically take on large scale projects with multiple sessions in order to cover large areas, build depth, and create flow. I specialize on blackwork geometric pieces utilizing aspects of sacred geometry, dot-work, and shading to build unique shapes and movement. Additionally, I excel with bio organic pieces where I pull inspiration from nature and other organic elements to create abstract designs. I can work in both black and grey or color and am happy to do either or both. As an artist, I thrive with creative freedom and always work with the goal to make each client love their tattoo. I love passion projects where I can help clients obtain the piece of their dreams.
The following outlines the process of booking with me, along with the guidelines for all projects. If you have any additional questions, please reach out via email. When you're ready to book, please fill out this Tattoo Questionnaire to begin the process.
For all projects, a consultation will be required. All local pieces will require the consultation to be in person at RedTree Tattoo Gallery, but traveling clients will have a virtual option. During the consultation, we will take photos of the desired location for the piece, discuss your ideas in detail, and come up with an idea that both you and I are comfortable with. Depending on the size, detail, and location of the piece, the sessions required to complete the project will vary and will be discussed at the consultation.
Once a project is agreed upon, a $200 deposit will be required to book the appointment date and each following appointment. The deposit will be put toward the day rate, leaving the remainder to be paid the day of the appointment. Deposits are non-refundable 3 days after payment. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 7 days of the tattoo will forfeit the deposit.
For all projects I have a rate of $250 an hour, with a minimum of $500 and a full day rate of $1200. Most large scale projects will be given the day rate, unless shorter hours are previously discussed and agreed upon. The $200 deposit will be applied towards whichever rate is applied.
In order to ensure you're comfortable throughout the appointment, please consider these pre-session tips:
-Get a good nights rest
-Eat a meal before the appointment
-Drink plenty of water before and during the appointment
-Bring a sugary snack to the appointment
I ask that you do not consume any alcohol or drugs before or during the tattoo process. Intoxicants can alter the way your skin takes ink, which could effect the quality of the project.
I ask that you do not use any numbing agent prior to your arrival unless previously discussed.
Please keep in mind that if the area being tattooed has abrasions, sun burns, or other irritations I will need to know before proceeding.
